Aluminum Alloy and Specifications

Satrise Industry is a prime source for aluminium sheet and coil products to suit a broad range of manufacturing, transportation and industrial applications. As having a 20 years’ experience of manufacturing aluminium sheet and aluminum coil, we supply an array of gauges, widths, finishes and alloy for every raw material requirement. Most 1***, 3*** and 5*** series alloys used in the building products industry are available. These alloys are ideal for roll-forming, stamping and fabricating applications. Grand Shine offers 1050, 1100, 3003, 3105 5005, 5052, 5083 alloys aluminium sheet and coil as customer’s requirement. As offer the above alloys aluminium sheet and coil, we provide the below tempers: O, H12-H14-H18-H19/H22-H24-H26/H32-H34, the thickness from 0.12-6 mm,the width from 20-1350 mm.

1050/1100 – Commercially pure aluminium, highly resistant to chemical attack and weathering. Easily worked and welded, but the lowest strength aluminium. Excellent for chemical processing equipment and other uses where product purity is important, and for metal pressings of all types where ductility is critical. As the widest range of sheet, 1050/1100 aluminium sheet and coil are commonly used in chemical processing equipment, light reflectors, and jewelries.

3003/3105 – Stronger than 1100 aluminium sheet and coil with same good formability. Fine corrosion resistance and weldability. Most of stampings, spun and drawn parts, mail boxes, cabinets, tanks, and fan blades, chemical equipments, brazing applications, van bodies and cryogenic uses are made of 3003/3105 aluminium sheet and coil . If you are looking for higher strength, consider 5052 aluminium sheet and coil.

5005 – Specified for anodized applications to match with 6063 extrusions. Anodised coating is clearer and lighter than for 3003/3105 aluminium sheet and coil in severe drawing applications. 5005 aluminium sheet and coils are widely uses in decorative, architectural and consumer products.

5052 – Forms readily in the intermediate tempers. Corrosion resistance is very good as is weldability. 5052 aluminium sheet and coil are much better salt water corrosion resistance than alloy 1100 aluminium sheet and coil.5052 aluminium sheet and coil are proverbially used for pressure vessels, tanks, fittings or applications involving forming or welding where strength higher than 3003/3105 aluminium sheet and coil are needed, common applications include electronic chassis, tanks, pressure vessels, houseboat hulls, pontoon boats and van bodies.

5083 – Stronger than either of the above alloys. 5083 aluminium sheet and coil show excellent weldability and corrosion resistance. For high strength welded applications with outstanding joint strength, 5083 aluminium sheet and coil are used for rail wagons, marine components, bridges, stationary cryogenic vessels and overhead cranes.

Aluminum Industry Reacts to New Heavy-Duty Truck Fuel Economy Standards Proposed by EPA

ARLINGTON, VA -- On June 19, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed new regulations to cut greenhouse gas emissions from heavy-duty trucks, requiring that fleet fuel economy increase up to 24 percent by 2027. While these proposed rules will first enter public comment period before the final version is likely released sometime in 2016, the aluminum industry is poised to assist its transportation customer base in meeting these new standards. The Aluminum Association is committed to producing high quality, accurate data for OEMs as well as  the EPA and other regulatory agencies on the benefit of aluminum light weighting on fuel economy. Mass reduction using aluminum has emerged as a proven and cost effective technology for achieving improved road vehicle fuel economy and CO2 emissions performance. Over the past 40 years aluminum use in automotive light and heavy-duty vehicles has increased steadily. Since 1975, aluminum consumption in this market has grown by more than 4 billion pounds. The weight and emission benefits that result from using aluminum in heavy-duty trucks are significant. Research conducted by Ricardo Consulting Engineers has shown that an “aluminum-intensive” Class 8 commercial tractor trailer can reduce vehicle weight by 3,300 pounds. For every 10 percent of weight reduction, up to a 5.5 percent improvement in fuel economy is possible. The study also found that substituting the nation’s fleet of Class 8 tractor-trailers with aluminum-intensive models would save 9.3 million tons of CO2 annually. The aluminum industry is developing higher-strength aluminum alloys and improved componentry to continue driving significant fuel economy gains in the heavy-duty vehicle market. The industry is also pursuing new aluminum joining methods that will enable increased integration of aluminum and non-aluminum components into next generation heavy-duty vehicle design. The aluminum industry has a long history of working with transportation market manufacturers throughout the supply chain to develop vehicle efficiency improvement solutions. That work will continue in the heavy-duty vehicle market, particularly as these new standards are finalized and implementation of the requirements begin.

Our company's main products : The main products are 1 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 series, 8 series, dozens of alloy grades. There are aluminum sheet, aluminum coil, aluminum wire, aluminum foil, and so on. Our produce are widely used for cosmetics package, food and other industries.
