Non-ferrous metal industry: With the deepening of industrial and accelerating restructure of the industrial transfer

China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Recycling Metal Branch President ShangFuShan held recently representation on the Fourteenth International Forum recycled metal.

Data show that this year 1-3 quarter, China imported a total of 4.563 million tons non-ferrous metal scrap, imports continued to decline, including scrap copper imports hit the biggest decline in recent years, reaching 19.62%, aluminum scrap imports declined for four consecutive years cumulative decline 21.94%. Expects copper scrap imports accounted for the supply of raw materials ratio will drop to 50%, aluminum-containing scrap imported raw materials accounted for the proportion of the raw materials supply will drop to 40 percent, a decline of about 20% and 15%. 

ShangFuShan that, at present, China non-ferrous metal industry is gradually moving towards deepening of structural adjustment. In secondary lead industry, for example, the first 10 production industry for more than 60% share, industry concentration has been greatly improved, rapid adoption of advanced technology and equipment, the number of emissions and blood lead accident rate decreased significantly, the industry has made steering technology intensive and capital-intensive. "Industrial restructuring, effectively promote the development of renewable metals and specialty equipment manufacturing and other related industries, has greatly contributed to upgrading the industrial system." ShangFuShan told the "Economic Daily" reporters. 

Meanwhile, the Chinese non-ferrous metal industrial restructuring is progressing steadily.With the improvement of labor and energy advantages Midwest Transport System manifestation, recycled metal industrial transfer from the southeast coastal areas and inland to the west frontier province continues to accelerate. As of September this year, 45 countries have officially approved "urban minerals" demonstration bases, there are 13 located in the Midwest.The completion of these parks, will greatly promote the scrap electrical equipment, Midwestwire and cable , automotive, home appliances, electronic products, such as waste recycling resources, regulate the use and utilization of high value. 

With the development of transportation, environmental protection and other industries, not only enrich the development of renewable resources, non-ferrous metal industry, but also for non-ferrous metal industry increased renewable power. For example, automotive and aircraft industry technology innovation, one is aluminum usage is increasing, the other is aluminum recycling technology has been greatly developed. 

"In the future, the development of high-tech revolution spawned renewable non-ferrous metal industries, especially metals applications, along with the miniaturization of components, integrated trend, and gradually expand to the new materials industry." ShangFuShan said, "Traditional non-ferrous metals materials industry and downstream industries closer cooperation and integration, industry structure appears vertical diffusion trend. This trend reduces the materials industry of intermediate links, speed up the transformation of research results, reducing the R & D and market risk, in favor of renewable colored metal enterprises bigger and stronger. "
